Simon Lonsdale is the Head of Sales and Strategy for AMPLY Power, a Charging-as-a-Service provider de-risking and accelerating the adoption of electric buses, trucks, and passenger vehicles by commercial and public fleets through its price-per-mile-driven model.  Simon is a recognized pioneer in the EV charging industry and previously served as Chief Strategy Officer for ChargePoint, the world’s leading EV charging network. As head of sales or business development, he’s helped usher successful outcomes for many well-known cloud computing companies including RNA Networks (acquired by Dell), NICE Software (acquired by Amazon Web Services), and Platform Computing (acquired by IBM). Prior to this Simon spent eleven years at Aspect, a telecommunications company, as VP, Software Engineering and VP, Alliances, during its migration to an enterprise software voice-over-IP platform. Originally from the UK, Simon has been a Silicon Valley native for more than 20 years. Simon is a Chartered Engineer and has a Masters’ degree in Electronic, Communication and Computer Engineering, most recently from the University of Bradford.
