Doug Bond has worked for Alameda County since 2008. Prior to joining the County, Doug worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car for 15 years. Doug began his career with the County managing the Clean Commute, Parking, Property & Salvage, Messenger, and Motor Vehicle Divisions before transitioning to his current role as the Deputy Director of the County's Building Maintenance Dpeartment. Through his time at the County, Doug has overseen the installation of the County's 121 charging stations network. Doug brings a unique perspective, as he understands the fleet challenges along with the infrastructure and construction challenges of installing EV charging stations. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of California at San Diego. Doug currently serves on the board for East Bay Clean Cities.
