Real-world fuel economy for traditional vehicles varies widely based on usage patterns.  Do electric vehicle ranges have similar variations? If so, by how much? Join this seminar to explore how commonly held EV assumptions stack up to Big Data science. Panelists will present real-world fleet data sets to demonstrate EV and battery efficiency in numerous conditions, over time, and by manufacturer. Data will be revealed on how and where electric fleet vehicles charge today -- from standard 110v outlets or Level 2 connections at home to depot charging and public stations -- and how this informs more intelligent infrastructure planning. While the answers may surprise you, these findings will better inform you on how to fleet EVs based on your specific needs.
