Jordan Coleman is the General Counsel and Vice President of Policy at Kodiak Robotics where he leads the company’s legal and policy teams to ensure the safe and rapid deployment of self-driving trucks. Jordan is proud to be the first in-house general counsel in the autonomous trucking industry. As a member of the Kodiak executive team, he helps create the strategy for the company at large while also taking a leading role on investor relations, government and external affairs, safety, and business development. Before joining Kodiak, Jordan developed a wealth of experience and deep expertise in the technology industry, specifically with high-growth startups. He was an attorney for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he specialized in representing technology companies at various stages of their life cycles and was named a “Rising Star” in 2015-2018 by Super Lawyers. Previously, he was an attorney at DLA Piper, a global law firm located in more than 40 countries.


Today, Jordan is a board member for The San Francisco Education Fund, a nonprofit that mobilizes the community to support equitable access to a quality education for public school students through tutoring and mentoring, scholarships, teacher grants, and corporate school adoption. Jordan is a graduate of Georgetown University where he received a degree in International Business, and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he graduated with honors.
