Kevin Rohlwing is the Chief Technical Officer for the Tire Industry Association (TIA). He started in the tire business 40 years ago as a technician in his family's dealership in Elgin, Illinois, where he also worked as a salesman and service manager. In 1996, he joined the International Tire and Rubber Association (ITRA), the predecessor of TIA, and since then has created/produced all of the Association's training and certification progrtams for passenger, light truck, medium truck, earthmover, farm and industrial tire service technicians that have educated more than 190,000 technicians since 1997. In 2015, Kevin was given the Ed Wagner Leadership Award from TIA for his contributions to the tire industry.
