Kevin leads advanced research and development activities for DENSO’s access solutions products. This encompasses end-to-end digital key systems and micro-location technology for fine-ranging of phones in and around vehicles, which enables secure, passive access and other value-added features.
Prior to joining DENSO, Kevin was a two-time entrepreneur in the connected technology space, focusing on access solutions. In 2006, he co-founded Crayon Interface, which delivered remote access via a mobile phone for the home, office and vehicle. It was acquired in 2010 by Ingersoll Rand, owner of the Schlage and Trane brands. He later co-founded InfiniteKey, acquired by DENSO in 2017, which was focused on building passive access solutions for automotive markets.
