Mike Ambrose is the Manager of Maintenance and Construction at the East Bay Municipal Utility District. His responsibilities include construction and maintenance of the water distribution system from EBMUD facilities up to and including customer meters. He also manages maintenance support services which include the District's vehicle and equipment fleet. 

He has worked for the District since 1994 in a number of positions in the Engineering and Operations and Maintenance Departments. Prior to his work at EBMUD, Mr. Ambrose worked as a consultant in the electric power and weapons processing industries for nine years. 

He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State Uniersity where he graduated cum laude and a M.S. in Engineering Management from Portland State University. Mr. is a registered professional engineer (mechanical) in California.
