Robert Momich, Senior Director of Business Development for Emerging Transportation Platforms at Siemens, is a strategic leader in smart infrastructure and mobility transformation. Known for his global perspective and ability to translate innovation into real-world outcomes, he leads efforts to simplify the transition to electric vehicle fleets through AI-powered digital depots and home charging reimbursement solutions. A true pioneer in the evolution of connected technologies, Robert was one of the orignal 23 participants at the founding MIT Auto-ID Center conference where the term "Internet of Things" (IoT) was first coined. He has continued to champion the IoT vision driving its adoption across industries and shaping the future interconnected systems.
With over two decades of experience, Robert has held leadership roles at multiple emerging technology companies such as Sensei Labs, ZenduIT, and Valor TPMS, where he drove global sales strategies and built strategic partnerships. As co-founder of Quand Medical Technologies, having secured two IoT patents —“Package with Integrated Circuit Chip Therein and System for Using Same” and “Method and Apparatus for Clinical Trials,” he led the development of a novel IoT-based medication management platform, securing an additional fourteen patents, public-private funding and fostering collaboration across healthcare and technology sectors.

Robert holds a Master of Arts and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from the University of Toronto, and studied International Economics at the American University of Paris.
