Founder and CEO of Car IQ Sterling Pratz is changing the way we pay for goods and services by connecting vehicles with merchants and banks to transact. Car IQ works with fuel providers Shell, Sinclair, Sunoco, Kum & Go, technology partners PDI Technologies, Verra Mobility and GeoTech along with Visa and Discover to advance the adoption of cloud-based vehicle payments.

Pratz founded and served as CEO of award winning Autonet Mobile, the first company to bring wi-fi connectivity to vehicles and worked with Fiat Chrysler Automobile, General Motors, Maserati, Subaru, Verizon, AT&T and Lear Corp to connect vehicles to mobility platforms. He sold the company to Lear in 2015.

Pratz began his automotive career as a race car driver traveling across the U.S. successfully competing in the Midget Circuit.He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the United States Auto Club and is an adviser to several early-stage companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University.
