Jeff Schuchardt

Vice President of Information Technology (IT) | Enterprise Fleet Management

Jeff Schuchardt is Vice President of Information Technology (IT) for Enterprise Fleet Management, a full-service vehicle management business and the largest affiliate of Enterprise Holdings Inc. In this role, Schuchardt is responsible for overseeing a team of more than 350 employees where he has led and been involved with many of Enterprise Fleet Management’s innovative IT efforts and solutions over the years, including the rollouts of a fleet replacement and total cost of ownership tool, aftermarket, and logistics program, and client-owned vehicle enhancement.

Owned by the Taylor family of St. Louis, Enterprise Fleet Management operates a network of more than 50 fully staffed offices, which manages a fleet of more than 870,000 vehicles in the U.S. and Canada. The business provides full-service management for companies, government agencies, and organizations operating medium-sized fleets of 20 or more vehicles, as well as those seeking an alternative to employee reimbursement programs. Enterprise Fleet Management supplies most makes and models of cars, light- and medium-duty trucks, and service vehicles across North America.

Enterprise Fleet Management and its affiliate, Enterprise Holdings, together offer a total transportation solution, operating nearly 2.1 million vehicles throughout the world. Combined, these businesses – accounting for nearly $35 billion in revenue in fiscal year 2023 – include Car Sales, Truck Rental, CarShare, Commute vanpooling, Zimride, Exotic Car Collection, Subscribe with Enterprise, Car Club (U.K.) and Flex-E-Rent (U.K.) services, all marketed under the Enterprise brand name. The annual revenues of Enterprise Holdings – one of America’s largest private companies – and Enterprise Fleet Management rank near the top of the global travel industry, exceeding many airlines and most cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, and online travel agencies.

Schuchardt began his career with Enterprise in 1988 as a Management Trainee after graduating from Washington University in St. Louis. Two years later he moved over to Enterprise Fleet Management, where his responsibilities evolved to include IT. Schuchardt was promoted to Assistant Vice President of IT in 1999 and was named to his current role of Vice President in 2017.
