Patrick is co-founder and CEO of EV Realty and brings over 15 years of experience in scaling and financing market-leading renewable development platforms.

Prior to launching EV Realty, Patrick was Vice President and Head of Development for Clearway Energy Group (formerly NRG Renewables), responsible for the company’s 17 GW project pipeline of wind, solar and energy storage projects. While at Clearway, Patrick and his team of developers and technical experts in transmission, energy markets, environmental permitting, real estate and contract negotiation successfully commercialized more than $9 billion (4 GW) of projects currently in operation or under construction in 17 states. Patrick joined Clearway in 2013 to build the company’s distributed generation and community solar businesses, which today is the largest operating community solar portfolio in the U.S.

Previously, Patrick was Senior Director of Business Development at BrightSource Energy, a leading global developer of solar thermal power projects. While at BrightSource, Patrick originated development and partnering opportunities in the U.S., South Africa, China and India, and led the implementation of BrightSource’s strategic partnership with Alstom (now GE). He joined BrightSource as Director of Financial Planning, where he had day-to-day responsibility for corporate capital raising, investor relations, budgeting and treasury activities.

Patrick holds a BA from Princeton University and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia.  He and his family live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
