With over 15 years of industry tenure, Shankar Muthukumar leads the integrated Mortenson design-build team as the EV infrastructure market surges ahead. He provides direction to customers and guides them using instinct, proven data, and insights for an optimal return on investment. Thanks to his diverse background, including big data, consumer goods, and complex construction, Shankar directs teams from initial feasibility analytics through project concept to completion while incorporating customer use cases for project management and delivery. 

Shankar has played a key role in recent EV infrastructure projects for Mortenson, including the Charlotte Area Transit Fleet EV Pilot project in Charlotte, North Carolina, and the Brookville EV Charging Microgrid in Brookville, Maryland. 

Shankar has degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and an MBA.
