Eric McCann is the Technical Fleet Manager at Bimbo Bakeries USA where he is responsible for all vehicle specifications, adoption of telematics, and growth of Bimbo Bakeries’ sustainable fleet. Eric first introduced Bimbo Bakeries to the LPG platform in 2014 which has since grown to almost 400 vehicles covering LPG, CNG, and EV.  By the end of 2020 Bimbo will have successfully launched 5,680 vehicles with telematics that will drive their performance-based maintenance system, driver management programs, and routing efficiencies. Eric started his career with Workhorse Custom Chassis in the early 2000’s as Regional Fleet Manager and stayed on through the Navistar acquisition. Eric’s interest into alternative fuels began during this time with the launch of LPG trucks through major national fleets that were under his responsibility. Eric resides in Troy Ohio with his wife, two daughters, and one son.
